Director of Technology and Data Risk Management

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to join our team as Director, Technology and Data Risk Management. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, analysts, and quality engineers in providing software development leadership and advancing technology solutions for our Enterprise Systems, HR, Legal & Compliance, and Public Affairs and Communications departments.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Enterprise Systems, you will have end-to-end accountability for all aspects of technology solution implementation, working in partnership with the Product Owner. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building a high-performing team with appropriate competencies to deliver services that meet and exceed business expectations.
- Leading agile software delivery and providing technical oversight and guidance.
- Driving and empowering your team to design, build, and support technology solutions according to product roadmaps.
- Ensuring DevOps/Quality Engineering for supported products.
- Proactively identifying and highlighting risks/issues and owning accountability to resolve.
- Fostering a culture of transparency and modeling the behavior of building bridges and trust within the team and organization.
- Effectively communicating to and influencing peers and senior stakeholders, ensuring messages/materials can be comprehended by audiences of varying technical acumen.
- Building network/relationships with business partners to understand business domain and needs to be valued as a trusted partner.
- Managing vendor relationships, optimizing efficiency, and meeting budgetary needs to maximize business value.
- Leveraging a data-driven approach to drive continuous improvement and improve behaviors and performance across products, teams, and processes.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in technology, experience in software development, and people leadership experience. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or any other quantitative field is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of software development best practices, the ability to quickly understand technology needs, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
