Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Summary:

Hammehr Talent Consultants is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database systems, which are critical to the success of our client's business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring optimal response times and user experience
  • Regularly update and maintain database structures, including tables, indexes, and constraints
  • Execute maintenance plans to back up databases and update statistics
  • Manage and fortify database and server security, ensuring compliance with the latest security protocols
  • Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to align database management with broader business objectives

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, using SQL Server 2014 or newer
  • 2+ years of Windows Server Administration experience, to manage and secure Windows Server environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with different teams to discuss and solve database issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced SQL Server experience, especially with versions 2016 to 2022
  • Experience with SSIS and SSAS to enhance data integration and analytical capabilities
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery skills to ensure critical systems remain robust and resilient against disruptions
