About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SCI. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of our cemetery, mausoleum, and funeral home locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair facilities, including grounds keeping, landscaping, and minor construction tasks.
  • Locate and mark grave sites, dig graves, and install crypt faces as needed.
  • Conduct interments, entombments, and inurnments with precision and respect.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of services and events.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, grounds keeping, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
