About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Professional to join our team at Halls Head College. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform internal and external cleaning duties, including maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other general cleaning tasks.
  • Undertake external cleaning duties, including veranda and covered area cleaning, rubbish removal, drinking trough cleaning, window cleaning, cobweb removal, and other general cleaning tasks.
  • During vacation times, strip and seal vinyl floors, shampoo carpets, and pressure clean verandas and undercover areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the facilities team to ensure a clean and safe school environment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of cleaning equipment, safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills, honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.
