Nursing Care Support Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at Romko Residences LTD. As a Nursing Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
  • Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds and ensuring a clean environment.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide support as needed.
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as required.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure they are readily available.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as necessary.
  • Respond to call signals, determining patients' needs and providing assistance.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas.
  • Provide first aid in emergency situations, prioritizing patients' safety and well-being.
Certifications and Licenses:
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
