About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Next Power Inc. as a Bricklayer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to provide a strong and durable foundation for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and Prepare Materials: Estimate the materials, tools, and equipment required for projects and prepare the necessary materials for construction.
  • Lay Bricks and Masonry Units: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a veneer facing for our construction projects.
  • Construct and Install Prefabricated Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet the needs of our clients.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to wear safety equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and gloves.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 44 hours per week.
