About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Construction & More Corp. as a Bricklayer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build walls, chimneys, and other structures.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a veneer facing for buildings.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Instruct apprentices in the art of masonry and bricklaying.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces for residential and commercial properties.
  • Supervise other workers on site to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the construction industry.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company.
  • 37.5 hours per week of work.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
