Job Summary
The Mayville Engineering Company is seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems, including control panels, ladder logic, and automated machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electro-mechanical systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with control systems, including PLC logic and automation equipment.
- Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and coordinate repairs on equipment.
- Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance tasks for manufacturing and other related equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production processes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and trends in the automation field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- State indentured Journeyman Industrial Electrician Card, Industrial Control Certificate, or equivalent degree or experience required.
- Valid Wisconsin Operator's License or ability to obtain one within a reasonable period of time.
Working Conditions
This is a 2nd shift position, working 3pm-11pm, with competitive wages and opportunities for advancement.
