About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient web applications using a range of technologies, including Python, Flask, and Azure services.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and internal stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Aggregate and organize large amounts of data from the ALS department to make it accessible, manageable, and actionable.
  • Maintain data quality and ensure the integrity and security of sensitive information.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and build automated anomaly detection systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and implement new innovations as appropriate.
  • Participate in project planning and provide input on data management strategies.
  • Document and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer who has a strong understanding of backend technologies, including Python, Flask, and Azure services. You should also have experience with data science, including data analysis, model development, and deployment to cloud services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a relevant quantitative discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role with a focus on backend development.
  • Formal training or certification in project management such as Project Management Professional, Certified Project Director or equivalent is an asset.
