Join Our Team as a Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Recollective. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based online research platform.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology stack, including Java and modern frontend frameworks like Vue or React. You will have the chance to drive mission-critical projects and contribute to the evolution of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software features for our cloud-based research platform
  • Participate in the definition of needs and solutions, investigate, and solve various problems
  • Code and test the functionalities of the software you develop or maintain
  • Collaborate with the team to drive mission-critical projects and contribute to the evolution of our platform
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of solid software development experience with a mix of frontend and backend technologies
  • Strong Java development skills and recent experience with one or more of Vue, React, Angular
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Experience with the utilization of Spring Frameworks, Web Services, and APIs
  • Proven hands-on web application development experience, ideally SaaS
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, etc)
  • Secure coding practices, including Spring Security, and knowledge of common OWASP security findings
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with Gradle, Maven, and GitHub is an asset
  • Experience with Docker is an asset
