Join Our Team as a Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Recollective. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based online research platform.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology stack, including Java, Vue, and React. You will have the chance to drive mission-critical projects and contribute to the evolution of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software features and functionalities for our cloud-based research platform
  • Collaborate with our team to define project requirements and solutions
  • Investigate and solve complex technical problems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development with a mix of frontend and backend technologies
  • Strong Java development skills and recent experience with Vue, React, or Angular
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Spring Frameworks, Web Services, and APIs
  • Proven hands-on experience with web application development, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Secure coding practices, including Spring Security, and knowledge of common OWASP security findings
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with Gradle, Maven, and GitHub is an asset
  • Experience with Docker is an asset
