Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Engineering Manager to join our team at Harbinger Motors.

As the Software Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and architecting our automated testing capabilities across both component and systems levels.

You will lead and mentor a team of test engineers, driving excellence in testing methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure the highest quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Direction: Define and implement the overall testing strategy, including automated testing frameworks and tools for component and systems-level testing.
  • Automated Testing Development: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Implement and refine testing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed of test execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts within the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing automated testing frameworks in a complex software environment, preferably within the automotive or EV industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++, and experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams.
