Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Engineering Manager to join our team at Harbinger Motors. As the Software Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and architecting our automated testing capabilities across both component and systems levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership & Direction: Define and implement the overall testing strategy, including automated testing frameworks and tools for component and systems-level testing.
  • Set the architectural direction for test automation: Ensure alignment with the broader engineering and product goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Incorporate best practices into the team's workflows.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team: Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide technical guidance: Ensure team members are growing in their roles and contributing to their fullest potential.
  • Automated Testing Development: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Implement and refine testing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed of test execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts within the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Skills: Proven experience in setting up and managing automated testing frameworks in a complex software environment, preferably within the automotive or EV industry.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams.
