Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Markdale Family Dental. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing. You will also conduct oral health assessments, provide patients with simple terms on oral hygiene techniques, and take dental X-rays as needed. Additionally, you will assist the dentist during dental procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements- High-level knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Dental office management software (Tracker knowledge is an asset).
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering patient trust and satisfaction.

- Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Maintains a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
