Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Accept payment or invoices for items delivered and maintain accurate records.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and keep a record of items received and delivered.
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods, as well as load and unload goods safely.
  • Follow directions, read maps, and record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and excellent oral communication skills are required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
