Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Supervisor to join our team at Express Box Delivery Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, training or arranging for training, and coordinating and scheduling activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet business objectives and deadlines.
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment utilization.
Support for Persons with Disabilities
  • Provide physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, to ensure equal access to our facilities.
  • Provide visual accessibility accommodations, such as braille and screen readers, to ensure equal access to information.
  • Provide auditory accessibility accommodations, such as transcription software and teletypewriters, to ensure equal access to communication.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support the career development of employees with disabilities.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation.
  • Support social and labor market integration through language training, skills training, and access to community resources.
  • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
Support for Youth
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support the career development of youth.
Support for Veterans
  • Participate in government or community programs that support veterans.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support the career development of veterans.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support the career development of Indigenous employees.
Support for Mature Workers
  • Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers.
  • Offer phased retirement options to allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities.
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair visible minority employees with experienced employees.
