Job Title: Flexographic Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team at Rayacom Print and Packaging BC Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic presses, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Filling ink fountains and controlling colour and viscosity to achieve desired results.
  • Setting up the press and operating at slow speed to check samples before proceeding with regular production.
  • Monitoring press runs for quality using the computer control console and making adjustments as needed.
  • Removing and cleaning plates and cylinders at the end of each press run.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this position.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Standing for extended periods is required.
