Job Title: Flexographic Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team at Rayacom Print and Packaging BC Ltd. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a flexographic press to produce high-quality prints. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Filling ink fountains and controlling colour and viscosity to achieve desired results.
  • Setting up the press and operating at slow speed to check samples before proceeding with regular production.
  • Monitoring press runs for quality using a computer control console and making adjustments as needed.
  • Removing and cleaning plates and cylinders at the end of each press run.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Reliability and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and stand for extended periods.
