Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Restaurant Service and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Subway Sandwiches restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement operational procedures to determine the type of services to be offered.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
- Cost products and services to optimize profitability.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to increase sales.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns to ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide customer service to maintain a positive customer experience.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency.
- Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain computer and technology knowledge to optimize operations.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work under pressure to maintain efficiency.
- Repetitive tasks with attention to detail required.
- Standing for extended periods and a large workload.
- Overtime required to meet business needs.
