Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description
At Subway Sandwiches, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve their best.
Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move objects as required.
