We are seeking a skilled Millwright (Nights) to join our team at Ventura Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
- Repair and Installation: Perform repairs and installations of equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production staff, maintenance team members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Education and Experience: 443A Millwright license or equivalent experience in processing and packaging equipment maintenance.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems; ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings; experience with machine shop equipment.
