About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at HWANGGANE & OSAKA SUSHI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Prepare and cook simple food items, such as vegetables and fruits, to support the kitchen team.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with food preparation, portioning, and wrapping to meet customer demands.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and handle cleaning products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Will train and learn new skills to support the kitchen team.
