About The Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at The Doctors House. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals and snacks for our residents and staff.
    • Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishes, utensils, and equipment.
    • Assist in the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored.
  • Garbage and Recycling
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and sanitary manner.
    • Ensure that all recyclables are properly sorted and stored.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment and supplies.
    • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to handle heavy loads.
    • Attention to detail.
  • Availability and Relocation
    • Availability for shift or on-call work.
    • Availability for the advertised start date.
    • Ability to relocate for this position.
    • Current residence in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Language and Benefits
