Your Role

  • Speech and Language Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language delays or disorders in young learners.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals, enhancing receptive/expressive language, articulation, phonology, and social-pragmatic skills.
  • Evidence-Based Therapy: Provide play-based, child-centered therapy using evidence-based methods to engage young learners.
  • Training and Support: Offer ongoing training, coaching, and support to parents, preschool teachers, and FB Education Services staff.

Requirements

We are seeking a Master's degree holder in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university with experience in pediatric speech and language assessment and treatment. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to mentor therapy assistants and work collaboratively within a team.

Additional Information

This position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance with $2,000,000 liability. Familiarity with PUF contracts and experience within Alberta Education is preferred. Fueling Brains is an equal-opportunity employer committed to fostering inclusion and diversity.
