Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Cloud Enablement

BlackBerry QNX is a trusted supplier of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks, and development tools, providing expert support and services for building critical embedded systems. We are the embedded experts, with a proven track record of delivering reliable and secure solutions.

Our cloud-enabled products are designed to accelerate development and help OEMs meet Start of Production (SOP) dates. As a Senior Product Manager, Cloud Enablement, you will play a key role in defining and executing our strategic cloud enablement roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business capture and thought leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of our cloud-enabled products and related services.
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products and lead successful execution of this plan across functional teams.
  • In conjunction with our marketing team, develop positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and partners to drive business capture and thought leadership.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other groups to manage cloud product releases from inception to general availability, participating and leading cross-functional initiatives as required.
  • Assess our target market and identify opportunities using market research, segmentation analysis, and 1:1 customer and partner interviews.
  • Perform competitive analysis on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in the development of business case justification and financials to support investments in the cloud-enabled portfolio.
  • Prime for Webinars, tradeshows, customer/prospect tours, and other outbound events.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience related to Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
  • 5+ years of product management experience related to Automotive electronic systems and/or other mission-critical embedded devices.
  • Experience in cloud enablement of edge products.
  • Ability to clearly articulate product requirements and prioritize enhancement requests.
  • Strong experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) products and services.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, finance, and marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to C-Suite and technical subject matter experts across an organization.

Additional Assets:

  • Proven ability to work and engage with world-class engineering talent.
  • Knowledge of embedded OS, Hypervisor, and Development tools software and related functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC, and/or security standards (e.g., ISO 21434).
  • Strong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong technical background to successfully engage with automotive and general embedded customers.
