Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager, Cloud Enablement to lead the definition and management of our next-generation cloud-enabled products. This exciting new role will help drive the strategic roadmap for cloud enablement, complementing our suite of foundation edge products in the automotive and general embedded markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of our new cloud-enabled products and related services.
- Drive the go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products and lead successful execution of this plan across functional teams.
- In conjunction with our marketing team, develop positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and partners to drive business capture and thought leadership.
- Work closely with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other groups to manage the QNX cloud product releases from inception to general availability, participating and leading cross-functional initiatives as required.
- Assess our target market and identify opportunities using market research, segmentation analysis, and 1:1 customer and partner interviews.
- Perform competitive analysis on an ongoing basis.
- Assist in the development of business case justification and financials to support investments in the cloud-enabled portfolio.
- Prime for webinars, tradeshows, customer/prospect tours, and other outbound events.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience related to Cloud (AWS, GPC, or Azure).
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
- 5+ years of product management experience related to Automotive electronic systems and/or other mission-critical embedded devices.
- Experience in cloud enablement of edge products.
- Ability to clearly articulate product requirements and prioritize enhancement requests.
- Strong experience with public cloud (AWS, GPC, or Azure) products and services.
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, finance, and marketing.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to C-Suite and technical subject matter experts across an organization.
Additional Assets
- Proven ability to work and engage with world-class engineering talent.
- Knowledge of embedded OS, Hypervisor, and Development tools software and related functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC, and/or security standards (e.g., ISO 21434).
- Strong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation.
- Strong technical background to be able to successfully engage with automotive and general embedded customers.
Working Hours
40 hours per week.
