We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at IJW Recruitment Solutions Inc. as a Home Care LPN. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care to patients in their homes
- Deliver safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
- Assess patients' needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor patients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with the healthcare team as needed
- Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
- CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a variety of settings, including patients' homes and healthcare facilities.
