We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at IJW Recruitment Solutions Inc.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a home care and visiting care agency setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care to patients
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
Work Environment

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, have excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
