We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at the Hillside Centre in Kamloops, B.C. as a Casual Social Worker. This role will involve working with a variety of Mental Health Programs, including Hillside, Adult Inpatient Psych, Safe Consumption Site, and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work.
- Facilitate client self-management and provide education and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources.
- Develop and provide social work services to maintain or improve the health and social well-being and functioning of the identified population.
- Shift times are 08:30 to 16:30 hours.
- This is a Casual opportunity, which means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week.
Hillside Centre is an acute Tertiary Mental Health facility located in Kamloops that provides care for persons aged 19 years and older. We provide highly specialized mental health services for individuals with complex and severe mental illnesses, including neurocognitive disorders.
