Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the corporate Human Resources team and assisting with the implementation and maintenance of corporate HR initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, motivate and lead by example, and support the learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with corporate executives and managers to support the full-cycle recruitment of specialized/professional positions, including finance, accounting, marketing, and technology services.
  • Oversee Occupational Health & Safety and Disability Management programs, including administration of accident reporting, case management, and related policy and procedural roll-outs.
  • Prepare and maintain all Leave of Absence (LOA) documentation for head office team members.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and support of various HR initiatives, including team member engagement surveys, policy and procedure launches/revisions, service awards, and performance management tracking.
  • Coordinate licensing and company requirements for Head Office team members, including Serving it Right, GPEB, and criminal record checks.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity, including JDE EnterpriseOne, and liaise with site HR to ensure data quality.
  • Assist the maintenance of forms, policies, and other HR documentation for the organization.
  • Liaise and communicate professionally and effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, management, team members, and regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education in HR or suitable combination of education and experience an asset.
  • HR designation an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience with a solid background in full-cycle recruitment of professional and specialized positions.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office; JDE or other HRIS experience preferred.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular office and casino environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required.
