About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Mirch Masala & Indian Sweet Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Bake and decorate cakes and pastries to meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of our products, ensuring they meet our established standards.
  • Oversee the sales and merchandising of our baked goods, working closely with our sales team to maximize revenue and growth.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
