About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Mirch Masala & Indian Sweet Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.
  • Bake and decorate cakes and other sweet treats.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of our products, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Oversee the sales and merchandising of our baked goods, working closely with our sales team to maximize revenue.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
