Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Columbia St. Liquor Store Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Assign Sales Workers: Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are working efficiently.
  • Hire and Train: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise as needed.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are adequate.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
