Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are working within their designated hours.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is always available.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
