Retail Store Manager

Columbia St. Liquor Store Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of sales associates, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Assign Sales Workers: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the store and support their career growth.
- Order Merchandise: Manage inventory levels and place orders for stock replenishment.
- Authorize Returns: Process customer returns and exchanges in a fair and timely manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and meet business needs.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales through effective merchandising and display techniques.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Supervise Activities: Oversee and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
