Job Title: Pediatric Respiratory Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Specialist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our respiratory medicine department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to children with respiratory disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Supervise laboratory activities
  • Act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • 5 years or more of experience in pediatric respiratory medicine
  • Current licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
