Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance to our plant equipment, including diagnosis of causes of breakdowns, removal, replacement, and installation of various components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
  • Work with outside vendors and outsourced contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Collaborate with production operators to ensure smooth operation of plant equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Valid Electrical Certificate of Qualification (309A or 442A)
  • Proof of Apprenticeship
  • Experience working with outside vendors and outsourced contractors
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, motors & motor controls, relays, and transformers
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Valid Drivers Licence
