Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, in the Oakville/Mississauga area. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance to our plant equipment, including diagnosis of causes of breakdowns, removal, replacement, and installation of various components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues with plant equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Work with outside vendors and outsourced contractors to resolve electrical issues
  • Collaborate with production operators to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to prevent downtime
Requirements
  • Valid Electrical Certificate of Qualification (309A or 442A)
  • Proof of Apprenticeship
  • Experience working with outside vendors and outsourced contractors
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, motors & motor controls, relays, and transformers
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge of related maintenance and repair practices
  • Valid Drivers Licence
