Salary: Estimated $50,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the property and product meet our high standards of quality and safety;
  • Identifying and rectifying general maintenance issues within the property;
  • Responding to guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner;
  • Performing preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to hotel guest rooms and equipment;
  • Maintaining work areas, equipment, and logbooks;
  • Responding to emergency situations, including fire alarms and power failures.

You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical experience in a recognized trade, with a strong understanding of building maintenance and operation;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Flexibility to work any shift as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Ability to work within a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills;
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical systems and operations;
  • Good computer and communication skills;
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity in fast-paced environments.
