About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager to join our team at Driven Brands. As a key member of our distribution center team, you will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our glass distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily activities of the distribution center, including receiving, storing, and shipping glass products.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement budgets, forecasts, and other financial plans.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and logistics teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement changes as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Valid forklift certification (an asset).
