Gestal Amérique du Nord Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Operative to enhance our operational efficiency. In this role, you will be integral to the effective management of our warehouse and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine incoming materials and components
- Prepare items for dispatch
- Oversee the inventory of incoming products
- Process material requests from both internal and external stakeholders
- Inspect and replenish items returned from production
- Alert the warehouse manager regarding supplies and packaging materials that need to be ordered
- Assist with physical inventory audits and regular assessments
- Operate forklifts or lifting equipment (a valid forklift operator's license is mandatory)
- Carry out additional related duties as required
- Completion of high school education or equivalent
- Experience in interpreting blueprints and utilizing measuring tools
- Knowledge of shipping and export documentation
- Familiarity with manufacturing resource planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Understanding of inventory and supply chain management
- Experience with materials such as stainless steel
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift within specified weight limits
- Possession of a valid driver's license
