We are a leading structural steel fabrication company seeking a skilled Drafter-Designer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and organized Drafter-Designer to prepare engineering designs and drawings for our structural steel fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, Tekla, and other drafting software, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings for structural steel fabrication projects, including shop drawings and detailing drafting.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Develop and prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Computer and Technology: Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla, and other drafting software, as well as MS Office and spreadsheet applications.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in structural steel drafting and design.
  • Certifications: AutoCAD Certification, Steel detailing Certification, and Drafting Trade Certification.
  • Computer and Technology: Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla, and other drafting software, as well as MS Office and spreadsheet applications.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Structural steel fabrication company.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
