We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter and Detailer to join our team at Whitemud Ironworks Limited. As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, and completing documentation packages and drawing sets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and detailing, with experience in AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant software. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings
  • Develop and prepare design sketches
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in drafting and detailing
  • Strong background in AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
