Purdys Chocolatier is a renowned Canadian chocolatier with a rich history and a commitment to quality, trust, and a supportive work environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing and Sales team based in Vancouver, BC.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, executing, and measuring our social media content. This includes creating engaging content, managing our social media content calendar, and responding to and engaging with our Purdys community across various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a social media content strategy that aligns with our brand voice and tone.
  • Manage and schedule social media content using Sprout or similar software.
  • Respond to and engage with our Purdys community across social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform our social strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and popular culture to identify opportunities for Purdys to engage with our audience.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a social media role creating social media content for a brand.
  • Experience creating social media short-form video content, such as Instagram Reels.
  • University degree or college diploma in English, Marketing, or Communications, or similar fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar.
  • A passion for social media, social media trends, and content creation.
  • A self-motivated, fast learner who enjoys being both a self-starter and collaborating in a team environment.
  • Experience using Sprout or social media scheduling and reporting software.
