Role Overview
The Director, Digital Sales Platforms leads the delivery and evolution of platforms that Vancity members and staff use to market, onboard, and originate products. This position provides senior leadership for end-to-end digital sales technology development and integration in an evolving, multi-vendor, financial institution.
The Director is responsible for managing multiple technology teams and overseeing all development and platform integration. As a member of the Digital and Technology Platforms leadership team, this role plays a critical part in delivering transformative change in support of business goals while managing risk and ensuring the overall health of daily banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributes to and executes the digital sales platforms multi-year technology strategy and roadmap.
- Works closely with stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with the enterprise business strategy, objectives, and key results.
- Leads sales platform design and development, refining platform requirements, and delivering scalable platforms in an agile environment.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an accomplished financial technology leader with a deep understanding of the current financial sales and customer management landscape. They should demonstrate passion for technology, innovation, serving a team, and partnering to drive business results.
This leader will be well-rounded, contemporary, and collaborative, with proven ability to work with stakeholders to build cutting-edge sales and onboarding solutions. They should possess strong technical skills, vendor partner management experience, and expertise in agile transformation within complex organizations.
