About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Live-in Nanny to join our team at Dorcas Thomas. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Childcare: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Supervision and Care: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their emotional well-being is nurtured.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Special Needs Experience: Experience working with children with special needs, including autistic children, children with Down syndrome, and children with ADHD or ADD.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance and a vulnerable sector check are required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking, scent-free environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all household members.
