Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bus Technical Support Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve product issues and problems reported by customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production engineering and new product development, to ensure design changes are appropriate and effective.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering change notices (ECNs), to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders on bus electrical systems and other related topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with training on pertinent systems in our vehicles to enable the technical support team to be intimately familiar with the bus electrical systems.
  • Resolves customer problems or complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate own tasks to ensure schedule dates are met, considering supplier and customer timelines.
  • Assist with controlled testing of components and installations to meet contractual obligations, ensure product reliability, and verify component fit.
  • Special assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Engineering background (PENG, CET, EIT) or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other technical tools.
  • Highly technical and analytical skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership qualities, motivating and self-starter.
