Job Title: Executive, Public Relations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive, Public Relations to join our team at Wachsman. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day account work for clients, supporting the execution of Public Relations campaigns, and providing administrative support to senior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Public Relations campaigns for clients.
  • Support senior staff members with daily internal & external communications for clients.
  • Coordinate media relations efforts, including media list development, drafting press materials and pitches, and daily media monitoring & reporting.
  • Contribute to content development and tracking of social media campaigns.
  • Conduct competitive research to help generate story ideas and angles.
  • Provide administrative support to senior staff members, including scheduling and preparing for client calls, creating agendas, reports, and action items.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years of internship or relevant experience in Public Relations or communications; agency environment strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving & solutions-oriented approach.
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and extremely organized.
  • Motivated to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Interest in the emerging technology/crypto/blockchain/Web3 industry is a plus.
