We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Coordinator to join our team at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. This is a key role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for new equipment set-up, handheld software and hardware support, and DDS support for the Distribution group.
- Policy and Procedure Management: Develop and maintain an understanding of RDO Policies and Contracts; maintain current RDO Policy Manual.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training and understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with established accountability practices and procedures, contractual renewals and schedules, document procedures and paperwork submission, and Route settlement; prepares reports and maintains records.
- Route Reporting: Complete route reporting to a sku level analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Provide prompt feedback to RDO/LHO/DSD concerns and questions.
- Internal and External Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the department; coordinates and participates in meetings, conference calls, training; prepares presentation materials.
- Promotional Activities: Participate in development of promotional activities; monitors participation and success.
- Fleet Maintenance: Assist in maintenance programs for the Saputo fleet.
- Load Balancing: Load balancing of trailers.
- Team Meetings: Participate in Distribution Team Meetings and conference calls.
- Tracking and Administration: Various tracking, including expenses, business reviews, insurance, driver's license updates, plant and Petro can, charge back as required.
- Claims and Legal: Claims; Legal, including RDO setup/termination.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaison between customer service, warehouse, plant, sales, cheese branch, and distribution as required.
- Education: Post-secondary education in General Business/Administration/Transportation an asset.
- Experience: Prior accounting experience preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within Distribution and/or Sales environments.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Computer systems, Microsoft Office, Handheld Computer Technology, DDS, and DSS systems.
- Soft Skills: Expertise in troubleshooting, providing technical support, and communicating technical information; strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and organizational skills; proficiency and dependability in current position.
