Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Quality Inn & Suits Kingston. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Inspect hotel facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed.
  • Assist cleaning staff with their duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding role. Standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling are required.
